Recycling Workshop

The Recycling Workshop, now based at Unit 6 Latton Bush Business Centre, both refurbishes donated items of furniture as well as creating wooden items from re-claimed wood.

Donated items, such as coffee tables, chests of drawers and wooden cabinets are refurbished by volunteers before being made available to our clients in the Furniture Re-use Project.

Garden items such as planters, bird tables and mini children's benches are also made in the workshop from donated wood including unwanted wooden pallets and are for sale within the project.

Volunteers have the opportunity to work towards OCN (Open College Network) accredited Health and Safety qualifications at levels 1 and 2 in order to ensure safe working practices are maintained.
