The Rainbow Centre
The Rainbow Centre aims to support voluntary and community organisations within Harlow via a range of infrastructure support services and practical facilities.
Rainbow Services are affiliate members of NAVCA (National Association for Voluntary & Community Action www.navca.org.uk) and therefore support their five key functions:
Development - looking at local need and working with others to develop approriate action
Liaison - assisting cross-sector relationships as well as helping to forge links between voluntary and community organistions
Representation - enabling voluntary and community organisations to present views and opinions to statutory bodies via consultation, networking etc
Services - providing affordable and accessible facilities, support with seeking and securing funding - FAIR Project COMING SOON! sharing information and co-ordinating Harlow Voluntary Sector Forum
Strategic Partnership - working with Harlow 2020 (Local Strategic Partnership to help develop partnership working between voluntary and statutory sectors at a strategic level
Services provided within the Rainbow Centre include;
Conference and Training Room for hire
Hot desk space for hire on a regular or one-off basis stocked with publications, fact sheets and access to the internet
Paper based resources such as photocopying, laminating

Criminal Records Bureau checking service
We have registered as an umbrella body with the Criminal Records Bureau and are able to offer this service to any organisation requiring a staff or volunteer to be CRB checked.
