Rainbow Services works to support communities to develop skills and resilience in order to support each other and create solutions to local challenges.  We work in partnership with other agencies and individuals to do this.  Currently we are working on the following community programmes:

Senior Safe and Socials – in partnership with Harlow Council, Essex County Council and West Essex CCG, we co-ordinate 6 events each year which provide vital access to over 600 older people whilst offering these older residents a social activity and the creation of new networks.

Time Credits – in partnership with Tempo, Harlow Council and Essex County Council, we are co-ordinating a network of volunteering opportunities which enable people to earn Time Credits in recognition of the volunteering they have done, which in turn can be spent on other activities in the community and further afield.

Workshops – Rainbow Services is co-ordinating a series of workshops for community members to increase their knowledge of critical issues and conditions affecting the wellbeing of their neighbours and loved ones.  These include Falls Prevention, Mental Health Awareness, and Making Every Contact Count.
